Little Gifts
Last week, I got a Facebook Messenger text from Tim. I met Tim when I worked at Petra Church in New Holland in 2003.
I reconnected with Tim six months ago when he reached out because he was coming to Costa Rica as the new Administrative Director for the All-nations Association of Bible Schools. We had a lovely time showing him the farm, getting caught up (I had worked with his wife while at Petra), learning about AABS, and meeting the sweet local pastors he brought with him.
Fast-forward to last Friday at 8:02 AM. He messaged me to ask if I could translate some of the higher-level courses they use in their Bible schools from English into Spanish. And they’d pay me to do it!
While we had a number of things in the works with Ad Lib Music (the worship coaching organization I lead), there was nothing that we were presently involved in; I took it as the Lord’s timely provision for our needs and got to work on it right away!
But here’s where it gets cool.
The first course is “Ministry Development.” It’s designed to teach leaders how to develop a new ministry or expand an existing one. Guess what? We’re doing that right now, and this material is positively what I need to learn.
I told you it was cool.
So here I am beginning to do about a week’s worth of work that is:
A financial blessing to our family
Content that directly connects to what I need to learn right now
The gift of being able to translate training that scores of Central and South American pastors will receive from
Praise the Lord!
What do you need and how are you trusting Him for it?
Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen! Ephesians 3:20-21 (TPT)
NEWS!
This fall, we’re launching a Gap Year program focusing on worship and leadership. We want to receive 4-6 students between 18 and 25 for nine months of training and activation. Feel free to send our contact info to any potential young leaders. Details to follow.
This Friday, we begin hosting a biweekly “Noche de Encuentro” - a night of fun, feasting, and deep worship in our home. Other significant developments are also happening to encourage and disciple local youths, but more on all that to come.
If you’ve been thinking about financially supporting us, you could make a powerful impact for the Kingdom now. And please keep praying for us!
