Unassuming Ministry
You might be involved in something or considering starting something that feels like second nature. Something that is such a reflection of who you are that you don’t even put it in the category of “ministry.”
That’s what March felt like.
Hosting, sharing stories, and worshiping. Allen, Bob, Janet, Kim, Adam, Kimberly, Stephanie, Mark, Jonny, Wendell, Austin, Griselda, Alberto, Flori, the Sanchez’s, Pocho, Ale, Leah, Ema, Elmer, Floribeth, Dave…who did I miss? March was full. Beautifully full.
It was a combination of old friends, pastors, missionaries, and partners. There was lots of food, stories of God at work, deep worship, and some really fun overlapping worlds.
Some of the best ministry is like that. It’s so natural it feels supernatural.
I encourage you to name what might be right under your nose and take an intentional step in that direction.
We’re naming our unassuming ministry like this: “We create spaces for leaders to encounter the Lord through worship, build relationships that strengthen the Church, tell the stories of God at work, and give people a sense of grounding, belonging, and launching.”
How are you naming your “unassuming ministry?”
Love,
Dave, Heather, Aspen, Clementine, Louis, Juliana, Huxley, and Caspian Helmuth
