I was in a Guitar Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with my musician pastor. Yes, we played several of the most expensive guitars. No, we didn’t play any of the forbidden riffs on the electric guitars.

I forget why we even went there, but I do remember some caps that caught my attention.

It was a black trucker cap with simple white letters that said, “SUPPORT MUSICIANS.”

I took it the wrong way.

I thought it would be funny to buy one for each of my worship team so they would remember they are “support musicians.” They are supporting the congregation’s voice.

Clever.

It wasn’t until much later that I realized it was supposed to be a rallying cry to help those starving artists out. As in, please “support musicians.”

Haha!

So which interpretation do you think is better?
